FULFILLING THE NEED FOR AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY
Our History & Vision
McGowan Hall is a storied landmark in Indianapolis' Old Northside, originally home to a grand Romanesque chateau dating back to 1874. Once the residence of prominent figures like President Benjamin Harrison and the McGowan family, the hall has a deep connection to the city's past.
After the Knights of Columbus acquired the property, it became a vibrant fraternal clubhouse, hosting countless community events. Today, while preserving its historical essence, McGowan Hall stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Indianapolis, dedicated to enriching the community with a strong sense of history and purpose.
