A room with a stage, a balcony, and its own parking lot
Holiday parties, annual meetings, awards nights, fundraising galas, training days and conferences. Published rates, your own caterer, and no food minimum to negotiate around.
What the building offers a planner
The Grand Hall seats four hundred at tables and has a permanent stage at one end, so a podium, a panel or an awards presentation does not need a hired riser. There is a balcony above the floor, which the room uses for concerts and which works well for photography or a second tier of seating at a large session.
Twenty two foot ceilings and five thousand square feet mean a two hundred person all hands does not feel like it is happening in a function room. The floor is original 1922 maple, the walls carry Romanesque detail, and the room reads as a real place rather than a hotel box, which tends to matter for a holiday party or an anniversary event.
The Council Room downstairs holds a hundred and is the right shape for a training day, a workshop, a board meeting or a breakout session.

Sound, projection and wifi: please call rather than trust a spec sheet
The Grand Hall regularly hosts concerts and full theatre productions, so the room handles live sound well. We are not going to publish an equipment list we have not verified line by line, because a planner who turns up expecting a projector we do not have has a very bad afternoon.
Call Jacob on (463) 842-1265 with what you need and he will tell you exactly what is here, what you would need to hire in, and which local suppliers other companies have used. This page will be updated once the current inventory is confirmed.
Catering on your terms
Use whichever caterer your company already works with. We hold no preferred supplier list, take no commission, and set no food or beverage minimum, which makes budgeting considerably simpler than at a venue where the catering spend is the real negotiation.
Caterers prepare off site and arrive ready to serve. Our kitchen is a staging area for holding and plating rather than a production kitchen.
Alcohol is served through our bar only, and outside alcohol is not permitted on the property. For a company event a cash bar or a tab run to an agreed limit is usually the cleanest arrangement. Prepaid open bar is $20 a head for beer and wine or $30 for beer, wine and liquor, with fifteen percent gratuity on prepaid and tab arrangements. One bartender is included for five hours.
Getting your people here
We are at 1305 North Delaware Street, in the Old Northside, a few minutes north of downtown Indianapolis and easy to reach from I-65.
There are sixty five parking spots on our own lot, plus street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. For a four hundred person evening event that lot will not cover everyone, so it is worth telling attendees about street parking in advance or arranging a shuttle. If you book all three rooms, the lot is exclusively yours.
Access. The Grand Hall is wheelchair accessible, including the main floor restrooms. There is no elevator, so the Council Room and Bar Lounge on the lower level are not accessible. If you are running a session with a public audience or a mixed ability group, keep the whole agenda on the main floor and tell us, so we can help you plan the breakouts around it.
Come and see whether it works for your event
Bring your run of show and your headcount. Jacob will walk you through the rooms and answer the technical questions properly rather than approximately.
