Get married, eat, and dance without changing address
Ceremony in the Grand Hall, dinner in the same room once it is flipped, and the after party downstairs in the Bar Lounge when the band packs up. Nobody has to drive anywhere.
One building, three parts of the day
Most couples book the Grand Hall for the whole thing. You can hold the ceremony at one end, have guests move to the bar or the lounge while the room is turned around, and come back to dinner in the same space. It saves a transfer, a second rental, and the forty minutes you always lose moving two hundred people across town.
If you take all three rooms, the Bar Lounge downstairs becomes the natural after party. It has its own bar, a jukebox full of 45s, and seats fifty, which is usually about the number still standing at eleven o'clock.
Booking the whole building also gives you exclusive use of the parking lot, which matters more than people expect on a Saturday in this neighborhood.
The food is yours to decide
Bring the caterer you want. We keep no preferred list, take no cut, and set no food or beverage minimum. That is unusual at this size in Indianapolis, and it is the single biggest lever you have on a wedding budget.
- Your caterer prepares off site and arrives ready to serve. Our kitchen is a staging area for holding and plating.
- No minimum spend on food or drink. Not a lower one. None.
- Tables and chairs for up to 400 are included in the rental, so that is not a separate hire.
- Alcohol runs through our bar. Cash bar, run a tab, or prepay an open bar at $20 a head for beer and wine or $30 for beer, wine and liquor.
What the room gives you for free
A 1922 hall does a lot of the decorating on your behalf. Original maple underfoot, Romanesque detail along the walls, twenty two foot ceilings, tall windows, and a permanent stage at one end for the band or the head table.
Couples generally add string lights or uplighting and stop there. The photographs on this page are all from weddings held in this room, so what you see is what the space actually does rather than a staged shoot.
Before you fall in love with it
Access. The Grand Hall is wheelchair accessible and so are the main floor restrooms, so a guest using a wheelchair can spend the whole day in that room comfortably. There is no elevator, so the lower level rooms are not accessible. If you were planning to send guests downstairs to the Bar Lounge for the after party, keep that in mind, and call Jacob to talk it through before you book.
Your date. Saturdays go first, and the deposit is what actually holds a date rather than a conversation. It is $300 or twenty five percent of the rental, whichever is greater. Fifty percent of the balance falls due ninety days out and the rest fourteen days out.

Tours are free, take about twenty minutes and cover all three rooms. Come and picture where the head table goes.
